Terms of Service and Disclaimer
Last updated: November 2026
Welcome to the website of Ever-Health Integrated Chinese & Western Pain Centre (the "Centre"). Please read the following terms carefully before using the Centre's services, treatments and offers. By booking or receiving any service from the Centre, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by all of these terms and conditions.
1. Medical Disclaimer
1.1 All content on this website (including but not limited to text, images, the Pain Library and health information) is for general education and reference only and is no substitute for an in-person diagnosis and medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
1.2 Reading this website does not create a doctor–patient relationship. If you have any health concern or emergency, seek help from a registered doctor or an Accident & Emergency department immediately. Do not delay seeking care because of information on this website.
1.3 To the extent permitted by law, the Centre is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from any decision or action you take in reliance on information on this website.
2. Treatment Results and Individual Differences
2.1 The Centre aims to provide high-standard integrated Chinese and Western treatment, but the results of all medical and physiotherapy treatment vary with each person's constitution, age, medical history, lifestyle and adherence.
2.2 Clinical experience, patient stories or recovery times mentioned on the Centre's website or promotional materials are for reference only and do not constitute a guarantee or promise to any individual patient.
2.3 If, after assessment, a registered clinician considers that a client's condition is not suitable for a particular treatment (for example, deep device-based treatment for a person with serious cardiovascular disease), the Centre reserves the absolute right to decline that service to protect the client's safety.
3. Booking, Changes and Cancellation
3.1 To protect all clients and make good use of clinical resources, every booking is confirmed only once our staff have confirmed it by phone or WhatsApp.
3.2 Changing or cancelling a booking: If you need to change or cancel a confirmed booking, please tell us at least 24 hours before the appointment. In the case of a no-show without reason or repeated same-day cancellations, the Centre may decline future bookings from that client or require a deposit.
3.3 Late arrival: So that the next client's treatment is not affected, a late client's session may be shortened while the fee stays the same. If you are more than 20 minutes late, the Centre reserves the right to reschedule the appointment.
4. First-Visit Trial Offers and Fees
4.1 The "first-visit trial offers" listed on the website (such as the $198 / $498 plans) are only for new clients aged 18 or over visiting the Centre for the first time. Each client may use such an offer only once.
4.2 The "dedicated treatment" included in an offer is decided by the treating clinician according to the client's actual condition and level of pain. Clients may not insist on a device or treatment that is unsuitable for their condition.
4.3 The Centre follows a policy of "clear pricing, pay per session" and never uses high-pressure sales. Whether to continue with any recommended further treatment is the client's own decision after experiencing the results.
5. Health Care Vouchers and Insurance Claims
5.1 Although the Centre issues valid receipts from registered practitioners for medical insurance claims, each insurer's policy terms and claim criteria differ. The Centre does not guarantee that any insurance claim will succeed.
5.2 Before treatment, clients are responsible for checking with their insurer or broker the scope of cover, any referral-letter requirements and claim limits.
5.3 The Centre accepts Elderly Health Care Vouchers, and their use strictly follows the latest guidelines of the Department of Health of the Hong Kong SAR Government.
6. Disputes and Changes to These Terms
6.1 The Centre reserves the right to amend or update these terms, its fee schedule and offer details at any time. Changes take effect once published on this website. Treatments confirmed or paid for before a change will still follow the terms and prices that applied at that time.
6.2 Any dispute should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. These terms do not affect any rights clients have under Hong Kong law.
6.3 These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. They are available in Chinese and English; if there is any inconsistency between the two versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
